As principal. HRM signs as the buyer or the seller, and the desk manages sourcing, inspection, documents, shipping and claims itself. Where it helps a deal, we also work with brokers and agents.

Do you only trade material from Korea?

No. We source scrap where it is generated and sell it where smelters and fabricators need it. Our partners are in more than 30 countries across five regions; Korea is where the desk sits.

How are deals priced?

It depends on the commodity. Specification, assay, contamination and attachments, recovery and weight deductions are agreed with the commercial terms before contract, and the shipment is inspected and settled against them.

Do you supply finished alloy products?

Yes. Supplying a smelter with scrap and then selling its ADC12 ingot, billet or coil on to end users is the normal shape of an HRM metals trade. For can makers we sell UBC and can supply 3104 alloy ingot.

Do you handle lead, zinc or e-scrap?

They are expanding lines. Each project is reviewed case by case on specification, compliance and destination; ask the desk.

Can you help with finance and payment terms?

Yes, where a deal needs it. HRM structures payment terms and, for qualifying trades, arranges finance. See the trade finance page.

HRM's metals desk sources aluminum, copper and brass scrap from yards and processors worldwide and supplies smelters and remelters. We then sell their products (ADC12 ingot, RSI, billet, aluminum coil and 3104 alloy ingot) on to die casters, extruders and can-sheet producers. Specifications, assay, contamination and attachment limits and the commercial terms are agreed up front, and each shipment is inspected and settled against them.
